I held my first workshop today. And I admit — during the weeks leading up to it, I was anxious and a little worried about attendance. But in the end, it was full and an amazing time was had by all.
It’s been three months to the day since Namaskar Yoga opened its doors. This roller coaster ride doesn’t stop and the lessons come daily. It would be unrealistic to say that it’s been nothing but bliss, ease and smooth sailing. The truth is — it’s a lot of work and very long hours. But it is a labour of love and there is nothing else in this world that I would rather do. Everyday I see the fruits of my intentions and hard work, and it teaches me to trust that everything will work out for the best.
It’s said that overnight success takes years to set up. On the days that I feel like giving up and throwing in the towel, I will remember this day. I will remember the joy and freedom that people felt and how blessed I am to help facilitate bringing the yoga community together.
Thank you Chris Duggan, Daniel Shaw and Adam McCoy for hosting Namaskar Yoga’s very first workshop. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. And thank you, Beautiful Yogis for all your support. I wouldn’t be here without you.
